About me

My Bio

Hello! I'm Victor Peña! I'm a Mexican musician originally from Talpa de Allende, Jalisco, Mexico. My musical beginnings date back to my childhood, starting with classical student music at school.
Later, I joined a choir at my local church.

With a group of friends, we formed our first cover band, and later, I joined the group Esclerótika, with which we played covers and original music. We had the opportunity to record a professional EP.

In 2005, with an original approach, I formed the Alternative Rock band Renglón in Puerto Vallarta, México, which brought me considerable professional and personal satisfaction. With Renglón, we were able to record original songs (you can listen to them on Spotify), tour, and play with important bands at the time, such as Panteón Rococó, Jumbo, Qbo, Plastiko, Pito Perez, La Tremenda Korte, and many others at local and international festivals. Renglón disbanded in 2012.

After that year, I've been part of various local cover bands playing in bars, restaurants, hotels, and private events in the Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit areas of Mexico.

Starting in 2022, I'll begin my solo career with a semi-acoustic concept, playing classic rock and pop covers in English and Spanish.

Currently, I'm continuing with the same concept and planning to record my first album of original music in 2025.
